Economics alumnus Steven Rattner ’74 discusses technology and productivity in his article Fear Not the Coming of Robots which was featured in The New York Times.
In his article, Rattner asserts that the general public should not be worried about new technology taking the place of human work. Rather, he claims that the prime culprit behind stagnant employment and income growth is globalization.
