Economics Department to Study Wealth and Income Inequality

Announcements

The department has begun a six year, $2.5 million project focusing on both the drivers and consequences of inequality, with a strong emphasis on the upper parts of the wealth and income distributions.

Funding for the project will support graduate student fellowships, research assistant positions, post-docs, visiting professors, and research infrastructure.  An initial conference on the topic is being planned, tentatively for the spring of 2017.
