A newly published paper by Professor Brian Knight, former Ph.D. student Ruben Durante, currently teaching at Sciences Po in Paris, and two co-authors is highlighted at the American Economic Association's website. The paper, "Market-based Lobbying: Evidence from Advertising Spending in Italy," focuses on the Berlusconi media empire and appears in the January 2016 issue of American Economic Journal: Applied Economics.
