The Northeast Political Economy Conference (NPEC), held at Brown on October 3, 2025, was organized by Professors Brian Knight and Gemma Dipoppa (Columbia University) and brought together leading scholars from economics and political science to present empirical research in political economy. The one-day event, co-sponsored by the Bravo Center for Economic Research and the Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, featured eight research presentations and keynote talks by Professor Melissa Dell (Harvard University) and Professor John Marshall (Columbia University). The conference fostered interdisciplinary exchange and highlighted the Bravo Center’s commitment to advancing policy-relevant research in political economy. The event attracted over 50 attendees.
