Associate or Full Professor Rank, International Economics

The Brown University Department of Economics and the Watson School of International and Public Affairs invite applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position, to begin July 1, 2026, whose research focuses on international economics, broadly conceived to include international macroeconomics, finance, and trade. We seek candidates whose research has made creative and influential contributions to the scholarly literature in the field. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the ability to engage with students, practitioners and an interdisciplinary range of scholars around the implications of their research for international and public affairs. Assistant Professor, Macroeconomics

The Department of Economics seeks to recruit an Assistant Professor of Economics (tenure-track) whose research interests focus on macroeconomics, beginning July 1, 2026. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should have a Ph.D. in hand or firmly expected by August 2026, be engaged in a research program with the potential to influence their field, and demonstrate the potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising.
