Bryce Millett Steinberg becomes Stephen Robert Assistant Professor of Economics

Bryce Millett Steinberg, a development economist with a focus on health and education, is joining the faculty as the Stephen Robert Assistant Professor of Economics and International and Public Affairs.

Bryce Millett SteinbergShe spent the last two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Watson Institute, and her faculty appointment will be joint with Watson as well. Steinberg earned her Ph.D. in business economics from Harvard, and before that was an economics concentrator at Brown ('09). Her research focuses on household investments in education in India, as well as the impact of piped water on health and economic activity in urban Zambia. She will be teaching development economics to undergraduate and graduate students in the Spring.
