Professor Teddy Mekonnen has been appointed as the Orlando Bravo Assistant Professor of Economics as of July 1, 2020. The focus of Professor Mekonnen's research is information economics and mechanism design. In particular, he studies informational externalities and the incentives for acquiring, sharing, and exploiting information in both static and dynamic settings. Professor Mekonnen's CV can be found here.
