On July 6th, Professor Oded Galor was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Oded is the founding thinker behind the Unified Theory of Economic Growth which seeks to uncover the fundamental causes of growth, prosperity and inequality throughout human history. It studies the role of deep-rooted factors in the transition from stagnation to growth and the emergence of vast inequality around the world.
