Economics faculty member Jon Roth  has been promoted to Professor, effective July 1, 2026. This promotion recognizes Jon’s outstanding scholarship as well as his terrific work as a teacher and advisor. 

Jon’s primary research interests are in econometrics, with a focus on causal inference. He is a 2025 Sloan Research Fellow and teaches undergraduate courses in the department, where he also advises students at various stages of their academic journey. Congratulations!
