We are pleased to announce that Pablo Ottonello will be joining the Economics Department and the Watson School as a Professor of Economics, effective July 1, 2026. 

Pablo is a prolific applied macroeconomist who is regarded as a leader in that field. His work studies financial frictions, investment, economic crises and macroeconomic policy in open economies.  We are excited to welcome Pablo to Brown and look forward to his contributions!
