“Make America Fair Again”: Harvard’s Douglas Elmendorf to give Economics in the Real World Lecture Oct. 11

The Economics Department sponsors public lectures each year directed at the broad university community, especially undergraduates. 

Douglas Elmendorf.This year’s Economics in the Real World Lecture is co-sponsored by the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs and will be given by economist Douglas Elmendorf, currently Dean of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Elmendorf is a former senior fellow of the Brookings Institution and was Director of the Congressional Budget Office from 2009 to 2015. The talk, titled “Make America Fair Again,” will take place Wednesday, October 11, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at room 130 at 85 Waterman Street (IBES).
