Nancy Rose to deliver Fain Lecture

Nancy L. Rose, Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, will deliver this year’s Bernard I Fain Lecture on Thursday March 3 at 4:00 p.m. at Carmichael Auditorium, 85 Waterman Street. The lecture, directed at the university community as a whole, is entitled “The Economics of Competition Policy in the 21st Century Economy.”

Fain Lecture thanks to the generosity of the family and friends of the late Bernard Fain, a 1952 graduate of Brown University and a member of the Providence business community. A series of distinguished speakers have addressed matters of economic and social interest to the general public through these talks. Nancy L. Rose is currently on leave from the Department of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she holds the Charles P. Kindleberger Professorship in Applied Economics.
